How to Become a Successful

APARTMENT LOCATOR

Apartment locating is one of the most underrated career opportunities in real estate. When it comes to the real estate industry, there are so many options that new agents don't consider. The majority of agents believe that having a real estate license restricts them to helping buyers buy a home or helping a homeowner sell theirs. That isn’t the case at all. Becoming an apartment locator is easier than you think.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT TO START USING THAT LICENSE

As a licensed real estate agent just starting out, I found that my classes were based primarily around buying and selling homes. Discussions were lacking when it came to all the fees, boards, and associations that you'd have to join to get started too. Thousands more to pay after you've obtained the real estate license required to begin buying or selling.

Needless to say, apartment locating wasn't covered at all. It just wasn't considered a career path that people were getting their real estate license for. You can imagine my surprise when I learned that apartment locating was a viable income stream in the real estate industry. And that it didn't require joining all the boards and associations to get started! You could literally start earning from day one.

Seventeen years later, and I find apartment locating still isn't taught in schools even though the market has been booming for years. And that, my friends, is how my book came to be. I wanted to share all the ends and outs of locating to make it easier for future agents to get started in real estate. I have been lucky enough to also learn marketing specific to real estate agents.

Find everything you need to know about getting your real estate license, starting out in the apartment locating sector, and how to market yourself for little to no money.
